The “Bambusa House” is another one of our latest custom design and construct projects built in the rural area of Herbert.

A young couple were eager to experience the tropical rural lifestyle that the N.T has to offer. One of the owners being an Agronomist, they wanted the space to grow and potentially sell fruit and vegetables.

A long bamboo shaped driveway leads to this stunning tropical residence featuring three bedrooms, one bathroom and a double carport.

A T shape floor plan captures bush views and has a strong connection between inside and out. Lying in the master bedroom, your eyes are cast over the pool that is just one step off the decking area.

Large louvre windows and sliding doors allow for cross ventilation, natural cooling, and minimize air-conditioning use. Semi elevated flooring adds to the tropical vibe, with lightweight walls that cool down fast at nighttime.
